Join us for walks in the Wensum

Over August and September we want everyone to appreciate what there is in Wensum Valley.

We are hoping to have a photography/art exhibition in the Autumn to showcase the wildlife, beauty and landscape of the area that would be impacted by the NWL were it to go ahead.

So, if you have artistic tendencies or are good with a camera please do get out to the Wensum area, or along the river over the summer!

You are welcome to join us and a Norfolk Wildlife Trust ecologist next week or in September to learn more and see for yourself if you aren't familiar with the area.

Dr Andrew Boswell's legal cases on the A47

Unfortunately Andrew's case was unsuccessful. However there are strong grounds for an appeal, and the application for this has been put in. For updates on the cases see here. Andrew is seeking 100 people to donate £100 to kickstart the appeal fund. If you or someone you know can be part of this '100 club' please contact Andrew on yes@fastmail.co.uk.

Twilight Wildlife in the Wensum Valley Fri 11th Aug 6.30pm

Meet for an exploration of the area that would be affected by the road, guided by an Norfolk Wildlife Trust ecologist. Listen for birdsong, look out for bats, learn more about this wildlife rich landscape.
Meet just before 6.30 pm for prompt set off.
Parking at St Peters Church Ringland NR8 6JA, or if no room please use Ringland village hall

Plans for the next big campaign fundraisers, in art, dance and spoken word. Getting out the word on this destructive road. This is a very significant time for the campaign- now is the time to step and help!
Any contribution big or small is appreciated -come and meet our friendly team, you can just come and say hi at your first meeting.

Join us to admire and learn about the Wensum area with Norfolk Wildlife Trust ecologist. Family friendly short walk, followed by a picnic. Bring your picnic and something to sit on.
