Firstly thanks if you took part in the pre-planning consultation last month. We have no news yet of the results, but we will be pushing to have the results made public. We will share this with you when we find out.

 

If you have just found us then please do get on board to help us with the campaign. We have found there are still people out there in Norfolk who don't know about the NWL, or if they do, they don't realise its destructiveness and cost.

Join our actions group (next meeting date below) - fundraising events planned for the New Year which we need help with, and we are always in need of help for our outreach work.

 

Do you have a comment you would like to make about the road? - we are looking for commenters (anonymous/quoted or videos) to give their perspective. We are especially looking for young people who don't drive, disabled people who need decent public transport, older people who aren't sure what they will do when they have to give up driving, people who rely on council funded services that are being cut. A recent webinar on Reducing Car Dependency Outside Cities showed there was lots of potential to reduce traffic volume even in rural and suburban areas. Other countries do this stuff well routinely. It's not our job to create a complete alternative plan for transport for the region, but we can point out that road building is a failure of imagination!
