Hi
We have a favour to ask.
Can you help support a sister campaign?
A campaign that is critical to whether the Norwich Western Link will go ahead?
There are plans to dual the A47, including a section where the NWL would meet the A47. Not only would this section of dualling damage the River Tud, which is a tributary of the River Wensum, and has a delicate ecology in it's own right, but if it goes ahead this makes the building of the NWL much more likely.
This is because it will encourage even more traffic, and set the trend for continuing to build roads rather tackling traffic volume. The 'justification' for the NWL would be strengthened.
The first part of the A47 dualling scheme has failed to take account of the government's own laws on carbon emissions, so it is open to legal challenge, but that takes money!
Please support the legal crowdfunder -by donating if you can and by sharing widely.

This is an issue that goes well beyond Norfolk because, as the crowdfunder explains, this is a test case. If the way CO2 is assessed in this road scheme can be successfully challenged in court then this could stop a huge number of road schemes in the UK.
Please help this legal challenge and help stop the A47 scheme, and therefore also the NWL and other road schemes across the country that ramp up CO2 and damage nature.
Thankyou so much!
